PROJECT: Social Identity, Content
ROLE: Art Director, Designer, Photographer, Video Lighting

As the lead Art Director, Designer, and Photographer of the social media team, my job was to create and maintain consistent on-brand content and develop brand recognition on all social platforms that stayed true to their number one principle: Have Soul. Content created included original concepts, graphic stills, original photography, animated GIFS, and video.

OKRP 5 Year Anniversary E-Invite

Adhering to OKRP’s museum themed anniversary party and the “Whiskey & Bananas” brand personality, I chose to integrate two symbolic visuals to represent the event: Michelangelo’s Bust of David and the OKRP iconic banana. The invite was sent out via Email and promoted on all OKRP social channels. Additionally, the photography was used on other collateral pieces for the event. Furthermore, the mascot resonated as a symbol of the OKRP culture and the photography was used for internal and external presentations.

#FamilyDay

Role: Art Direction, Design

In the midst of working from home in the spring of 2020 and on #familyday, the #OKRPeople (and OKRP kiddos) gathered at lunchtime for the agencies first virtual variety show. To showcase on social, each performance was cut into cute little spotlighted segments to :15 of fame. The design needed to be colorful, playful, and an homage to old-school daytime kid television. For the design, I took zoom-quality screen-shots and added each to an inviting spring-time color palette with playful and retro typography and digital window shapes.

#MothersDay

Role: Art Direction, Design

For Mother’s Day 2020, the OKRP social team made an animated, vintage-styled, credit scroll to give credit to all the employee moms. This execution allowed us to feature each employee’s mom in a conceptual and timely manner..

#YouTubeAd That has Six Appeal

Role: Concept, Art Direction, Design

The Webby Awards invited the advertising community and general public to celebrate the #TheYouTubeAd of the Year by voting for their favorite commercials; OKRP’s Groupon six second spot was nominated for the, “#YouTube Ad That has Six Appeal” category. Following suit, the concept surrounded itself on :6 videos to remind the public to vote daily. The design consisted of both the OKRP and GROUPON branding and each video was posted across all social platforms. The short series ultimately played a major role and was a success, earning us to win the official title.

For OKRP’s halloween post, I took inspiration from the Halloween classic, Buried Alive, and recreated the tongue-in-cheek OKRP edition with one helping hand, and more than 100 bananas.
